Gladysdale Primary School serves the semi rural community of the picturesque Little Yarra Valley. The school is a focal point for families and is serving 86 children's formal educational needs. The school population is ideal - small enough to be personal - large enough to have benefits. Children have developed respect and pride in their school and are encouraged to be inquiring, independent, responsible and self disciplining. they are challenged, involved in learning decisions and given hands on experiences. The children are respected for their individuality and treated as equals in a learning partnership. They are given individual attention when needed, are proud of their work and enjoy sharing it with their parents. Children are encouraged to be enthusiastic about their learning and obviously enjoy the activities provided.
